OBADINA Adewale Olusegun, PhD is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Food Science and Technology, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. His area of research is Food Safety and Quality, Dr. Adewale  was born in Benin City the former Bendel State in November 14, 1971, and hails from Ijebu Imushin, in Ogn State, Nigeria. He obtained his Bachelor degree in 1998, Masters and PhD degrees in 2002 and 2006 respectively, from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. He began his lecturing career at Bells University of Technology, Ota, Nigeria in 2005 in the Department of Food Biotechnology and later became the coordinator for the Department of Food Science and Technology. In September 2009, he left for the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), where he continued his esteemed career as Food Safety researcher and lecturer. He was a visiting scholar for an EU Erasmus Mundus MSc. programme at Katholie University, Gent, Belgium and Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland to teach Courses on Food Safety and Food Biotechnology. Dr.Obadina has been involved as facilitator in different Food Safety short courses within Nigeria. He has played an integral role in variuos collaborative projects sponsored by international donors such as DFID, EU, Bill and Melinda Gate Foundation and Africa-Brazil Innovation.  He has served as a Food Safety Consultant to United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). He has worked in various food research laboratories, in and outside Nigeria. In all of his professional endeavors, he strives to disseminate optimum knowledge and promote development through innovation and scientific research. He was a member of the speakers at the Forum for Food, Health and Nutrition organized by Human Health Organization (HHO) at the UN building in New York (2013).
