Some of the newly-matriculated students in a joyous mood
Parents of the newly-admitted students of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, have commended the Professor Balogun – led administration for his style of governance, in the last four years.
In a brief chat with FUNAAB Bulletin, a parent, Mrs. Esther Samuel disclosed that the admission process was free and fair, devoid of human influence, especially during the Post-UTME.
She further said that if other older and new generation universities in Nigeria could emulate FUNAAB, the fallen standard of education will be a thing of the past.
Another parent, who pleaded anonymity, gave kudos to the University Management for the befitting landscape, as she called on the Management to improve on the infrastructural facilities by constructing more hostels for the teeming number of students on campus.
The source also commended FUNAAB Management for the stability in the academic calendar noting that this is what makes the University to be unique in South-West Region of the country.
In the same vein, two newly-admitted students, Taiwo Boluwatife and Agbalu Oluwatoyin of the College of Veterinary Medicine (COLVET) called on the Management for the provision of more infrastructural facilities that will aid the completion of their studies.
They acknowledged Management’s efforts at having a stable academic calendar, as this was one of the reasons they had chosen FUNAAB as their first choice.
