The third law of thermodynamics. Maxwell-Boltzman-statistics. Boltzman distribution law, partition functions, heat capacities, entropy, equilibrium constants, rotational, vibrational and translational partition functions. Microstates and randomness. Calculation of thermodynamic equilibrium constant from partition functions. Ideal and non-ideal solutions. Introductory quantum chemistry.
