The Centre Manager, International Centre For Professional Development (ICPD), Mr. Lawrence Kazeem has disclosed that the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) in conjunction with MOD Education has created an avenue for all to enroll for their International Examinations at the University.
Speaking at the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Australia-MOD Examination/Education Fair, held at the Centre, Mr. Kazeem noted that the Fair is to expose the participants to various opportunities that have been provided for them by FUNAAB and MOD Education in their quest to study abroad.
He revealed that the Fair was initiated as a result of the flurry of requests received from people to develop an avenue through which they could secure an admission from reputable Institutions outside Nigeria.
According to him, “One of the basis of this gathering is as a result of the various requests we got from people on the need to study abroad. We also received so many complaints from them about being duped while looking for admission abroad, hence the need to look for a reputable organisation to partner with the University, and we also want to be careful with the way we use our name”.
He further disclosed that ICPD started IELTS in June 2019 while the Test of English as Foreign Language (TOEFL) also began in September 2019 after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with MOD Education.
Mr. Kazeem however encouraged interested persons to register with the agency, stating that MOD Education has integrity, is credible, reliable and very dependable for education abroad.
Meanwhile, the Head of Business, MOD Education, Mr. Oghenekaro Peters in his Presentation stated that MOD Education is an international education consulting firm that helps people who are interested in studying abroad get placed into their partner institutions in the United kingdom (UK), Ireland, Australia, United State of America (USA), and Canada among others, stressing that they have placed over 2000 international students over the years.
