An examination of patterns of family interaction on the international and intra-national levels. Special emphasis will be given to the processes of child rearing and socialization, particularly, as they relate to the larger culture. Attempts to quantify and qualify current patterns of child rearing within Nigeria will be emphasized through field work organisation and development of multi-functional space within living environment. Exploration of interior living environment, contemporary and traditional residential areas in an ecological bahaviour and culture context.
