Amisu, Ahmed Adeyemi hails from Ijebu-Isiwo in Ogun State, Nigeria, he is a Lecturer in the Department of Pasture and Range Management (PRM), College of Animal Science and Livestock Production (COLANIM), Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB).  While joining the services of Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta as an Assistant Lecturer in 2019; he has been carrying out research activities, supervising and training undergraduate students.

He graduated at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria in 2014 with Second Class Honours Degree (Upper Division), and completed his Master’s Degree in Pasture and Range Management in 2017. He is an expert in Pasture Agronomy and Forage Science with zeal for Forage Production and Utilization.

To his credit, he won Federal Government Scholarship Award for his M. Agric programme in Pasture production and utilization at Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta in 2016.

His research interest includes agronomy of pasture plants, evaluation and production of plants with forage potential, Forage Conservation and pasture ecology; he has 6 journal Publications and 9 Conference Proceedings (both international and local).

Mr. Amisu Ahmed is a member of Society for Grassland Research and Development in Nigeria (SOGREDEN).

He is a lover of learning, teaching and counsellingwhile he also enjoys adventures.
