a) Completed research: Propagation Techniques in Cashew, Kola and Cocoa for Improved
Nursery and Field Growth performance.

cashew (Anacardium occidentale, L.) at both the nursery and field levels.

iii) Suitability of cocoa-growing soils for raising seedlings of the improved varieties of cocoa
seedlings in Nigeria.

iv) Application of the direct effects of seedlings’ decapitation operations on root
proliferation to circumvent high transplant mortality normally experienced during field
establishment operations of cashew.
v) Determination of the effects of the seedling’s decapitation on analytical growth of
cashew seedlings.
