Short Profile

Bosede Sinmisola Sotiloye, born on 1st January 1961, is a Reader in the Department of Communication and General Studies at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria. She holds a Ph.D., M.A. in Linguistics, and B.A. in English Language. She teaches the English language and literature to undergraduates, and courses in Communication at the postgraduate level. She has to her credit, 23 journal articles, 6 conference proceedings, has co-authored 3 books, and contributed chapters in 3 books. Dr Sotiloye has special interest in teaching English in a second language situation. She has attended many national and international conferences and has brought to bear her experience in the supervision of postgraduate students. She is a member of professional associations amongst which are the National Association of Teachers and Researchers of English as a Second Language (NASTRESL) and the International Association of Teachers of English as Foreign Language (IATEFL)
