The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olusola Bandele Oyewole has directed that the Committee on the Determination of Criteria for Performance, Research Productivity and Nomination of Awardees for Performance (CODOCPREPNAP) nominate awardees for the 2012 Awards.
Consequently, the above named Committee requests interested members of the University Community to nominate Awardees in the following categories:
The best deserving Academic Staff for the Research Productivity Award: Please nominate two (2) Academic Staff each, one in the Senior Category (Senior Lecturer and above) and one in the Junior Category (Lecturer I and II) considered to deserve Research Productivity Award and attach the current Curriculum Vitae of such nominees. (CVs must conform to the attached University recognised APCAS format).

The best deserving Non-Teaching Staff Performance Award:
Please nominate two (2) Non-Teaching Staff each, one in the Senior Non-Teaching Staff Category (CONTISS 6 and above) and one in the Junior Non-Teaching Staff Category (CONTISS 5 and below) considered to deserving Performance Award and attach the current Curriculum Vitae of such nominees. (CVs must conform to the University recognized APCONS format).

PROCEDURE FOR NOMINATIONS
Nominations should be submitted through the following channels:
All Academic Staff nominations should be submitted to the various Deans of Colleges the nominees belong. Nominations of staff from other Academic Centres like Biotechnology Centre, AMREC and IFSERAR should be submitted to the Directors of the respective Centre/Institute.
Nominations for non-teaching staff should be submitted as follows:
Nominations for Registry staff should be submitted to the Registrar
Nominations for Bursary staff should be submitted to the Bursar
Nominations for Library staff should be submitted to the Librarian
Nominations for staff in other Directorates should be submitted to the Directors of the concerned Directorates.
The Registrar, Bursar, Librarian, Deans and Directors should please recommend 2 nominees each for each of the above categories and forward ALL nominations received to the Award Committee.
Please note that nominations are to reach The Secretary of the Committee at Academic Planning Unit by 12 noon on Thursday, November 15, 2012.
